ICE Parameter Commands for SPOL

The SPOL is controlled by the polarizer entry of the instrpars and selected by putting spol in the instrname field of the instrpars. It can take the standard set of commands:


 	h		- home to the detent
 	r		- reset communications
 	e		- enable controller
 	d		- disable controller
 	?		- query current settings
 	@n.n       	- move to angle n.n degrees from home
 	+n.n    	- move forward by n.n degrees *
 	-n.n    	- move backward by n.n degrees
 	#@n		- move to n steps from home *
 	#+n		- move forward by n steps *
 	#-n		- move backward by n steps *

* These commands must be quoted; e.g., instrument polarizer="+50.0". At 800 steps per 360 degree revolution, it can be told to go at 11.25 degree increments without losing its true position.
