Opening the dome 

How to open the dome and start the telescope

 1. go to the old control room (next to the elevator on the 5th floor)
 2. Turn the power on for "DECLINATION" and "POLAR AXIS" 
 3. Push the "BEARING HYD" "START" button, the 2nd button from the left,
    or the 3rd button from the right.
 4. Go to the Cassegrain platform: 
    * Turn power on. The left button under "EMERGENCY OFF" 
    * Put the control at local "LCL" =local
    * Open the shutter "OPEN" 
    * Open the mirror cover "OPN" 
    * Dim the dome  and passage lights
    * Put the control on "LSR", the laser (control) room
