22 Jul 08 We recommend that you do not use the Suns for web browsing. The
installed version is very old and will not work properly at many
web sites. If you did not bring a personal computer with you and
you wish to browse please ask frueh@astro.as.utexas.edu or
           crook@astro.as.utexas.edu for a media107 account.

16 Nov 06 Weather rules have been modified to permit re-opening the domes
30 minutes after any event (high wind guest, high humidity, etc.).
Some of the earlier closure rules stated 15 minutes.

05 Oct 05 The weather page at
           http://nexus.as.utexas.edu/cgi-bin/obs_sup/latest_5min.cgi
now updates automatically. Typing 'wxcon' at a Sun prompt will
run the 'wx' command continuously (updates every 3 minutes) in
that window. CTRL-C will kill it.

27 Nov 01 Please exit out of IRAF/ICE "nicely"--ie, log out of all your IRAF
windows--before exiting XWindows or CDE. Quitting out of the
Windows program while leaving IRAF running may leave tape locks
in place, restricting the next observer from writing to tape.

10 Mar 99 Just a reminder: when filling the pfc, do not move the telescope
below the horizon limit. The primary mirror can move and stick
until some random time when the mirror settles back, possibly
causing the images to shift during an exposure.

08 Jan 99 If you get an error when you do 'wx', try going directly to the
           weather web page at http://weather.as.utexas.edu.
