installed version is very old and will not work properly at many
web sites. If you did not bring a personal computer with you and

16 Nov 06 Weather rules have been modified to permit re-opening the domes
30 minutes after any event (high wind guest, high humidity, etc.).
Some of the earlier closure rules stated 15 minutes.

05 Oct 05 The weather page at
http://nexus.as.utexas.edu/cgi-bin/obs_sup/latest_5min.cgi
now updates automatically. Typing 'wxcon' at a Sun prompt will
run the 'wx' command continuously (updates every 3 minutes) in
that window. CTRL-C will kill it.

27 Nov 01 Please exit out of IRAF/ICE "nicely"--ie, log out of all your IRAF
windows--before exiting XWindows or CDE. Quitting out of the
Windows program while leaving IRAF running may leave tape locks
in place, restricting the next observer from writing to tape.

09 Jun 99 All IRAF/Ice users should be using 'icex'.

10 Mar 99 Just a reminder: when filling the pfc, do not move the telescope
below the horizon limit. The primary mirror can move and stick
until some random time when the mirror settles back, possibly
causing the images to shift during an exposure.
