COMMAND  EXPLAINED 
set home = "/home/machinename/username/ICE/"  Location of LOGIN.CL. 
set imdir = "./" Default directory for saved images. Setting to "./" means to set to the current directory. Be sure to cd to your data directory before saving images (usually something like /data1/oberon/username/night1).
set uparm = "home$uparm  "HOME = the data in set home $UPARM = a subdirectory under HOME where the uparm files are kept.
set userid = "username" 
set editor = vi  Default editor.
set printer = laser107  Default printer. See this list for printer names at McDonald Observatory. 
set stdimage = imt32  The dimension of the CCD image shown on the image display. (See table below).

WARNING! Be sure to save all data on the data disks. Saving images in your home directory can cause fatal crashes of IRAF/ICE or the computer itself and cause other bizarre problems. If insufficient space remains on the data disks, call someone in Computing.
